Saint-Herblain (France), 3 juin 2022 - Valneva SE (Nasdaq : VALN ; Euronext Paris : VLA), société spécialisée dans les vaccins, a annoncé aujourd’hui que des membres de son équipe dirigeante effectueront une présentation et participeront à des rendez-vous avec des investisseurs institutionnels lors de la conférence Jefferies, qui se tiendra à New York du 8 au 10 juin 2022.
Thomas Lingelbach, Chief Executive Officer, et Peter Bühler, Chief Financial Officer, feront un point sur les candidats vaccins de la Société en développement clinique avancé contre la maladie de Lyme (VLA15), le chikungunya (VLA1553) et la COVID-19 (VLA2001).
Valneva a récemment reçu une autorisation conditionnelle de mise sur le marché au Royaume-Uni pour son vaccin inactivé contre la COVID-19, VLA2001[1] et a soumis une demande d’autorisation de mise sur le marché auprès de l’Agence Européenne du Médicament (EMA) en mai 2022[2] . Par ailleurs, la Société a récemment initié le processus de pré-soumission réglementaire auprès de la Food and Drug Administration (FDA) des États-Unis pour son candidat vaccin à injection unique contre le chikungunya, VLA1553, suite à l’annonce des résultats positifs de Phase 3[3] et d’homogénéité des lots cliniques[4]. De plus, en avril 2022, Valneva et son partenaire Pfizer ont annoncé les premiers résultats pédiatriques positifs pour leur candidat vaccin contre la maladie de Lyme, VLA15[5]. Ces données confirment le bon profil d'immunogénicité du candidat vaccin déjà observé chez les participants adultes (18 à 65 ans) en février 2022. Les deux sociétés prévoient un essai de Phase 3 avec des participants âgés de 5 à 65 ans, lequel devrait commencer au troisième trimestre 2022.
